Girls Basketball: Eldon 64, Hallsville 46

HALLSVILLE -- The Eldon Lady Mustangs won their third straight Tri-County Conference game Monday night, beating the Hallsville Lady Indians 64-46.

Eldon led 10-9 after one quarter, then dominated the second quarter, outscoring Hallsville 21-3 in those eight minutes to lead 31-12 at intermission. The Lady Mustangs continued to lead 50-31 at the end of three quarters.

Sydney Halderman paced Eldon with 21 points, followed by Delaney McGhay with 19 points. Lydia Cotten also reached double figures with 11 points.

Eldon (15-9, 4-1 Tri-County) wraps up conference play Thursday with a home game against School of the Osage (17-7, 3-1 Tri-County).

Hallsville (6-15, 0-5 Tri-County) hosts Salisbury on Thursday.
