The Consul General of Israel in Miami is set to meet with Missouri lawmakers this week.
Maor Elbaz-Starinsky will participate in a meet and greet at Gov. Mike Parson's Office today, according to the governor's schedule. The Israeli diplomat is also scheduled to address a joint session of the General Assembly at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the House Chamber.
The Consul General of Israel in Miami's role is to build partnerships between Israel and Florida, Kansas, Missouri and Puerto Rico, according to its website. A diplomat since 2006, Elbaz-Starinsky is focused on areas such as politics, technology, trade, tourism, culture and media.
He previously visited Parson in the governor's office in 2021.
