NEW BLOOMFIELD -- The St. Elizabeth Hornets defeated the New Bloomfield Wildcats 11-7 on Monday.
Gavin Williams had three hits for the Hornets and drove in two runs. Carter Reinkemeyer and Nick Heckemeyer both had two hits and an RBI.
Reinkemeyer was the starter and winner, working the first four innings. He allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while recording four strikeouts.
Brayden Kempker pitched a scoreless fifth inning for the Hornets, giving up one hit and striking out a pair. Sam Luetkemeyer pitched the final two innings, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks with two strikeouts.
St. Elizabeth (8-2) will play Wednesday against Lakeland in Ozark.
