SEDALIA -- The Helias Lady Crusaders tied for third place out of 12 teams Monday during the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Invitational at Sedalia Country Club.
Helias tied St. Teresa’s Academy with a team score of 350. St. Joseph’s Academy won the team title with a 297, claiming five of nine rounds played in the 70s, while Father Tolton was runner-up with a 325.
Sophie Hinds tied for seventh place individually with a 78 to lead the Lady Crusaders. Emilee Sinnett followed with an 88, while Flynn Hamilton and Madeline Larkin rounded out the team score, each shooting a 92. Molly Case also carded a 96 for Helias.
Playing as individuals for the Lady Crusaders, Addie Bayer finished with a 95 and Maggie Brauner shot a 99.
Capital City posted a team score of 385 at the Invitational.
Jaycie Lowery led the way for the Lady Cavaliers with an 82, followed by Shelby Welling, who shot a personal-best 91. Morgan Meredith finished with a 99, Addison Thorsten carded a 113 and Kadyn Ketcherside posted a 139.
The Jefferson City Lady Jays finished the tournament a team score of 393.
Mia McGraw had the low round for Jefferson City with an 84, follower by Ava Williams with an 86. Katie Grefrath shot a 107, Kadence Kiesling had a 116 and Chloe Cash finished with a 120.
Tolton’s Audrey Rischer was the individual champion with a 68.
