Prep Cross Country: Class 3 District 2

LAMAR — The School of the Osage Lady Indians took first as a team with 94 points in the Class 3 District 2 meet, earning a team spot in the state meet along with Lamar (second with 103), Clever (third with 112) and Springfield Catholic (fourth with 113).

Rosie Falter led the Lady Indians with a seventh-place finish in 20:56.38, while Jaidyn Tabony took 10th in 21:02.28, Addison Fowler finished 20th in 21:48.08 and Mary Long placed 30th in 22:13.24. Jennifer Renz ran the Lady Indians’ final counting time of 22:50.73 for 44th.

Maya Miller (78th in 26:51.76) and Ella Kucsik (85th in 28:19.77) also ran for Osage.

The Indians took fifth as a team in the Class 3 District 2 meet at Lamar on Saturday with 148 points.

Colin Misenheimer (16th in 17:42.64) and Jaysen Groll (30th in 17:56.63) will go to the state meet as individuals for the Indians.

Lue Wolf (34th in 18:21.22), Josh Davis (39th in 18:32.69) and Hudson Stombaugh (45th in 18:43.34) ran the Indians’ other counting times.

Noah Klaus (52nd in 19:05.29) and Dustin Lemke (58th in 19:13.30) also ran for Osage.
