A Eugene man was airlifted to the hospital after striking a rock bluff with his vehicle early Sunday morning in Cole County.
James Teson, 45, was driving a 1996 Ford F150 westbound on U.S. Highway 54 shortly before 2 a.m., according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway west of Route D, struck a rock bluff and overturned.
Teson was wearing a seatbelt and received serious injuries. He was transported by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia. His vehicle was totaled, according to the crash report.
