Jefferson City man arrested for altercation at local business

A Jefferson City man faces charges after an altercation at a local business.

Jeremy Tisdel was charged in Cole County with third-degree domestic assault and fourth-degree assault.

A probable cause statement from the Jefferson City Police Department said authorities responded to reports of a physical disturbance at Bones Restaurant and Lounge early Sunday morning.

There, they contacted a woman who stated she had been punched by Tisdel multiple times. Police said they noted multiple visible marks on her from an apparent assault.

An employee at the bar said she tried to restrain Tisdel when the altercation began. She said she was kicked during the conflict.

Court records show active warrants for Tisdel in Blue Springs and Lee's Summit.
