OSAGE BEACH -- The Fatima Lady Comets used a strong second half Monday to begin their season with a 52-33 victory against the School of the Osage Lady Indians.
Fatima led 11-7 after one quarter and 25-19 at halftime. The Lady Comets outscored the Lady Indians 15-6 in the third quarter, widening their lead to 40-25 with eight minutes to play.
Alli Robertson scored a team-high 18 points for the Lady Comets.
Lauren Bartlett finished with a team-best 10 points for the Lady Indians.
Fatima (1-0) hosts Fair Grove at 6 p.m. today.
Osage (1-1) is off until next week when it plays in the Eugene Tournament. The second-seeded Lady Indians play seventh-seeded Vienna in the first round at 4 p.m. next Monday.
