A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing a street Saturday evening in Boone County.
Amrinder Singh, 36, of Columbus, Ohio, was crossing I-70 Drive Southeast around 11:35 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling westbound, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
Singh was transported to University Hospital in Columbia, where Dr. Peter Nathan pronounced him dead within the hour.
