Braun served as a soldier, cook with Army in Korea

Courtesy/Bill Braun: Bill Braun received his draft notice on his 21st birthday in January 1952. He went on to receive his initial military training at Fort Riley, Kansas.

His service during the Korean War often placed Bill Braun in some sparse living conditions and absent many of the comforts many now take for granted.
