Stress, shortages, erosion of public trust pushing health care workers toward burnout

Kim Sallin has been dealing with increased anxiety and high blood pressure for the past six months.

They were symptoms she has not experienced before as a hospital nurse and administrator at the Osage County Health Department, she said.
