Jefferson City firefighters responded to a fire Monday morning at Dragon Kitchen on Missouri Boulevard.
A 911 caller reported the fire around 9:40 a.m., Jefferson City Fire Department Division Chief Jason Turner said.
He said a fire broke out on a stove, but the fire-suppression system above it contained the flames.
Firefighters helped clear the smoke from the building and were only on scene for around 20 minutes, he said.
Two chiefs, two engines, a squad truck and a ladder truck responded to the call. Cole County EMS and a Cole County Fire Protection District engine were also on scene.
