Illinois woman sentenced to probation for traffic offenses

An Illinois woman was sentenced in Mid-Missouri to two years of unsupervised probation last week after pleading guilty to a DWI.

Dache Neal pleaded guilty last week in Cole County to operating a vehicle in an imprudent manner involving an accident and DWI.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement said Neal was stopped by police Nov. 18, 2022, after sideswiping another driver's vehicle.

Earlier, Neal had left a parking lot along Tanner Bridge Road and drove on at a high rate of speed, passing the eventual victim's vehicle, police said. She was allegedly heard yelling from her car before swerving and sideswiping the other car, which contained three occupants.

She was stopped by police, who found she had a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent.

The victims' vehicle sustained damage that would exceed $750, according to the statement.
