Dear Editor,
Missouri voters used initiative petitions to pass marijuana legalization and Medicaid expansion. As the Republican-led Legislature opposes these policies, along with the possibility that voters will enact reproductive rights, they are trying to make the initiative petition process more difficult.
The question is, why are these legislators so opposed to the will of the people who hire and pay them for representation?
The Republican Party does not represent the will of the people.
The Republican Party represents the will of the Republican Party.
