Next week is expected to be a pivotal time for the Lake of the Ozarks’ planned resort and entertainment district.

The Osage Beach Board of Alderman is set to vote on a swath of concessions for the Oasis at Lakeport development, a $350 million project slated to bring an amusement park, hotel, waterpark, retail space and more to U.S. 54 and Jeffries Road adjacent to the Grand Glaize bridge.

Next Thursday’s vote would approve a community improvement district, allowing the project to implement a sales tax within its boundaries.

The overall cost of the project, also known as Lakeport Village, is expected to come in around $356.9
