Music is helping send children to camp this summer.
The third annual Jefferson City Area YMCA Send a Kid to Camp Music Festival is coming up.
The festival is 6 p.m. June 2 at the Highway 63 Soccer Complex. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
The festival will feature music by Howl2Go Dueling Pianos (presented by Howl at the Moon in Kansas City).
Gerry Tritz MidMo Magic Show and Tiff Wignall Face Painting will be available to entertain children.
Food will be available to purchase from Pizza Kwik, Rebel Tacos and The Miracle Whip.
Drinks will be available for purchase from Bar Vino, Last Flight Brewing Company, Fechtel Beverage, NH Scheppers Distributing and Canteen.
Tickets may be purchased in advance from any YMCA facility or online at www.jcymca.org. Tickets sold in advance cost $20 for people ages 16 and older (or five for $75), $10 for ages 6-15 and children ages 5 and younger are free.
Tickets at the gate are $25 for people ages 16 and older (or five for $100). Day-of tickets remain $10 for ages 6-15 and children ages 5 and younger are free.
