NORMAN, Okla. -- The Missouri Tigers are two wins away from the Super Regionals.

Missouri (35-24) beat California 5-1 in the Tigers’ first game of the Norman, Okla., Regional on Friday and will face No. 1 Oklahoma (52-1) at 2 p.m. today for a spot in the regional championship Sunday.

Laurin Krings led the way from the circle, throwing a complete game and allowing one run on a home run, with California reaching base four times on hits and striking out three times.

Missouri took the lead with two runs in the first, then added on with one in the third and two more in the seventh, while California’s lone run came in the bottom of the first.
