Master gardeners kick off annual plant sale

They were among the first wave who were waiting in line when the gate opened at 9 a.m. The sale will resume at 8 a.m. Saturday and continue until noon.

People in Central Missouri have a secret for growing tomatoes, peppers and flowers during the summer that make their neighbors jealous.

It may have something to do with soil, nutrients and proper sun.
