Several Jefferson City area teams appeared in the final rankings from the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association for the 2022-23 high school basketball season.
The Tipton Lady Cardinals were No. 1 in Class 2 following their state championship.
Also appearing in the Final Four were the St. Elizabeth Hornets, who finished No. 2 in Class 1; the Jefferson City Jays, who finished No. 3 in Class 5; and the Southern Boone Lady Eagles, who finished No. 4 in Class 4.
The Jefferson City Lady Jays and the Helias Lady Crusaders finished No. 6 and No. 7, respectively, in Class 5.
The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets ended at No. 10 in Class 1.
Receiving votes outside the top 10 were Fatima and California in the Class 4 girls poll, Eugene in the Class 2 boys poll and Iberia in the Class 2 girls poll.
