A Jefferson City woman faces charges after allegedly bringing drug-related items to the Cole County Jail with her.
Nichole Lipe, 31, was charged with possession of a prohibited item in jail and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement says police arrested Lipe on an outstanding warrant Tuesday morning and transported her to jail. While being scanned at the jail, a methamphetamine pipe was discovered shoved into her clothing.
Court records show Lipe had multiple prior convictions for possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia.
