A Jefferson City man was sentenced to five years in prison this week after pleading guilty to drug and firearm charges.
Eric Kidd, 30, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm Tuesday. He was given credit for 218 days served.
Court records state members of the Jefferson City Police Department SWAT team and Mustang Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant in the 500 block of Shawn Drive on Oct. 29, 2021.
Kidd was detained for numerous warrants for his arrest. At the scene, officers located two handguns. A search of the residence reportedly netted more than 117 grams of crack cocaine, nearly 500 grams of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of heroin, all individually packaged for apparent sale.
