A 16-year-old boy was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Cole County.
The Jefferson City juvenile was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 at Lisletown Road around 1:10 a.m., when his vehicle went off the road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. The 2006 Volvo 240 struck a rock bluff, went into the median and hit a ditch before returning to the road and stopping.
The boy was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center and his vehicle was totaled.
A Rocky Mount man crashed his motorcycle in Morgan County Thursday afternoon.
Hartmut R. Kranz, 69, was driving north on Route Y, north of Lullabye Drive when his 2001 Harley-Davidson Road King went off the right side of the road and overturned.
Kranz was not wearing a helmet and suffered moderate injuries, according to the crash report. He was taken to Capital Region Medical Center by a private vehicle.
