It's not too soon to think about Cinco de Mayo.
Earlybird registration for the annual Jefferson City Area Board of Realtors Cinco de Mayo 5K Walk and Run continues through March 29, according to visitjeffersoncity.com.
The event begins 8 a.m. April 29. The route for the annual run/walk in North Jefferson City will be Fourth Street to Cedar City Road to Oilwell Road.

Early entry fee for youths (ages 14 and younger) is $20. Beginning March 30, the fee is $30.
Early entry fee for adults is $30. Beginning March 30, the fee is $35.
Top male and female runners will receive awards, as will the top three female and male finishers in each age group.
First-place female and male finishers in the walk receive medals. All early registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. The event will feature eight age groups. Event is rain or shine. No pets are allowed.
