Rotary Club of Jefferson City has announced its February students of the month from Helias Catholic and Jefferson City high schools.

Helias Catholic senior Lily Delk, daughter of Lisa and Louie Delk, has a 3.9 grade point average. She has participated in tennis, concert choir, French club, campus ministry, student council and the spring musical. She is proud of her achievement of moving from the lowest placement on the tennis team as a freshman to varsity as a sophomore.

Delk works at local pools in the summer and at an Italian restaurant in the winter, and she also figure skates, plays recreational volleyball, golfs and is involved at St. Joseph Cathedral.

After high school, Delk plans to attend the University of Missouri to study pharmacy.

JCHS senior Tripp Maassen has a grade point average of 3.28. Maassen's parents are Jeff and Julie Maassen. He is involved in basketball and baseball, and among his other interests are slow-pitch softball, video games and the weather. Maassen said one of his top achievements so far is being selected for all-conference baseball.

He plans to attend MU to study political science and business.
