Commercial Way between Madison and Monroe streets will be closed starting at 8 a.m. Monday.
Miller Pipeline will be installing new gas service lines for Ameren. Weather permitting, the road will be closed 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day through Friday.
Traffic can be diverted through the city parking lot around the work area, according to the Department of Public Works. The department urges motorists to take caution and find alternate routes if possible.
