Three injured in crashes across three counties


A 16-year-old girl from Jamestown was injured Tuesday night in a Moniteau County crash.

Around 9:30 p.m., the teen was driving north on Missouri 87 when her 2009 Ford Fusion skidded off the right side of the road, according to a Highway Patrol crash report.

The vehicle hit a tree, went airborne and hit a parked 2015 Ford Explorer, sending debris flying at a nearby house.

The girl suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Mid MO Ambulance to the University Hospital. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

A Stover man was injured early Wednesday morning in a Morgan County crash.

Around 4 a.m., Nigher Alfaro, 29, was driving south on Ivy Bend Road when he drove across the center line, according to a Highway Patrol crash report.

The 2000 Chevrolet Silverado then went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

Alfaro was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by Mid MO Ambulance.

A Fulton man was injured around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Callaway County crash.

Kenneth F. Holland, 43, was driving east on Route O and was navigating an S-curve east of County Road 419 when his 2020 x-Pro Hawk 250 motorcycle flipped onto its right side and skidded across the road.

According to the Highway Patrol crash report, Holland was wearing a helmet and suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
