If you want to try kayaking before investing in the gear, you can now rent a kayak at Binder Lake for up to two hours for $25. There are four kayaks in a metal bin with each boat having their own locker with a corrolating QR code. The user can download the appropriate app, scan the code, remove the kayak and be on the water in minutes. Upon finishing your time in the kayak, return it to the same locker and select "End Rental" on the app.
The Parks and Recreation Department has installed a self-service kayak rental service at Binder Lake for the first time.
The city entered into a five-year contract with rent.fun
