LIBERTY -- Jacinda Espinosa posted a third-place finish Friday to lead the Capital City Lady Cavaliers at the George Hoover Invitational at Liberty High School.
Espinosa had a 3-1 record in the 140-pound division, winning all three matches by fall. She pinned Raytown South’s Zayla Vann in 3:05 in the third-place match, improving her season record to 34-4.
Maci Albright placed fifth at 120 with a 2-1 record, winning one match by fall. Arya Ahmed added an eighth-place finish at 110 with an 0-3 record.
Capital City wrestles Wednesday at Union.
