Girls Basketball: Richland 60, Tuscumbia 36

RUSSELLVILLE -- The Tuscumbia Lady Lions dropped a 60-36 decision Saturday to the Richland Lady Bears in the seventh-place game of the Russellville Tournament.

Richland’s Lexi Burns and Tuscumbia’s Addison Rogers were named to the all-tournament team.

The Lady Bears jumped out to a 15-5 lead after one quarter and pushed their advantage to 37-12 by halftime. Richland continued to lead 50-21 at the end of three quarters and led by as many as 32 points in the second half.

Rogers scored a game-high 17 points for eighth-seeded Tuscumbia.

Kamryn Kardosz finished with a team-high 15 points, followed by Burns with 14 points for third-seeded Richland (6-13).

Tuscumbia (3-14) is scheduled to play tonight at Russellville in Show-Me Conference action.
