Girls Basketball: Blair Oaks 67, Harrisburg 42

HARRISBURG -- The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons scored a season high Saturday, defeating the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs 67-42 in the third-place game of the Harrisburg Tournament.

Blair Oaks’ previous season-high point total was 58 points earlier this month against St. Francis Borgia.

The Lady Falcons led 13-8 after one quarter, then they posted 22 points in the second quarter to stretch their lead to 35-22 at halftime.

Blair Oaks continued to lead 52-35 by the end of the third quarter and outscored Harrisburg 15-7 in the final eight minutes.

Emma Wolken led the fifth-seeded Lady Falcons with 17 points, followed by Autumn Bax and Belle Boessen with 14 points each. Chesney Luebbering and Taylor Groner each added nine points.

Wolken and Bax were named to the all-tournament team.

Blair Oaks (7-12), which has won three of its past four games, plays Monday at Class 4 No. 10 Owensville.
