BizBeat: Plasma donation center coming to Jefferson City

by Cameron Gerber | January 22, 2023 at 4:00 a.m.

Work has begun on a new plasma donation site coming soon to Mid-Missouri.

ImmunoTek Bio Centers is set to open a new Jefferson City location on Missouri Boulevard between IHOP and Freddy's. The center will offer financial compensation for donations and will feature comfortable beds, free wi-fi and big-screen TVs for donors to use. The company also boasts clean healthcare settings and experienced staff, its website says.

The process is similar to giving blood, the company said, with less strain on the body. The site will accept appointments or walk-ins and allow donors to visit as often as twice within a seven-day period. The process takes around two hours, the business said.

This will be the chain's first location in Missouri; there are dozens of other locations in the eastern half of the country so far.

ImmunoTek will be located at 2021 Missouri Blvd.
