EUGENE — Drew Hart and Grady Richard combined to pitch a three-hitter Monday, leading the Eugene Eagles to a 7-1 victory against the Dixon Bulldogs.
Hart struck out three batters and walked two in four innings to earn the win. Richard had two strikeouts and one walk in three innings of relief.
Ryan Lepper went 2-for-3 with a solo home run to lead the Eagles. Mason Kempker was 2-for-4 with a double and Chase Morrow and Garet Wood each drove in two runs.
Eugene (1-0) hosts New Bloomfield on Thursday.
