Sponsor: Presidential primary ‘probably not’ going to be restored this session

Missouri is likely to use a caucus system to select its choice of presidential candidates in 2024, according to state Rep. Rudy Veit, R-Wardsville.

Veit has been working to reverse a change the Legislature implemented last year that switched Missouri to party caucuses instead of presidential preference primary elections.
