Osage County crash injures two

A juvenile was one of two people who were injured in an Osage County crash Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred about 3:45 p.m. when Teresa R. Parker, 55, of Freeburg, who was driving a Ford Fiesta southbound on U.S. Highway 63 southbound near Route T, was slowing to make a right turn, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. A Ford pickup driven by Travin M. Weed, 21, of Dixon struck the Fiesta's rear end.

All parties involved in the crash were wearing seat belts.

Parker and a 12-year-old child in Parker's car each suffered minor injuries. An ambulance took them to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
