Habitat for Humanity seeks ReStore supervisor

River City Habitat for Humanity needs someone to fill a paid part-time position.

The right candidate to be the ReStore supervisor will oversee daily operations of the ReStore from opening to closing, and will train and lead volunteers. The supervisor is expected to be in the store whenever the store is open, including Saturdays.

The position is up to 25 hours per week.

Principal duties include opening and closing the store, reconciling the register daily, ensuring all donations are cleaned and priced accordingly.

The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the sales floor remains safe for customers, completing monthly inventory, and ensuring that all slow-moving merchandise is marked down per policy.

The supervisor must make sure the ReStore is properly staffed with volunteers, and must create a positive atmosphere for volunteers.

Some physical activity is required.

Minimum qualifications include: the ability to stand for extended periods of time; to move and handle boxes and merchandise; to operate the cash register, forklift and other necessary equipment; and to work varied hours.
