It's not too soon to think about providing toys for needy children this Christmas season.
And Missouri Gov. Mike Parson is prepared to jump-start the annual U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program during a 10 a.m. Wednesday ceremony at his office.
Parson is to read a proclamation honoring the 75th anniversary of the program and its 20 Missouri chapters.
The Toys for Tots campaign officially kicks off on Oct. 1.
