Mid-Mo Tuesday accidents result in injuries

A woman from Iowa was hurt in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Moniteau County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 7:50 p.m. in the 19500 block of Missouri 179.

Lorrie Kinser, 58, failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and overturned. Her pickup went off the left side of the road and struck several trees before it came to a stop.

Kinser was wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries.

Also Tuesday, a woman from Meta was hurt in a one-vehicle crash in Osage County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 5:40 p.m. on Route T, a half-mile south of Route P.

Barbara Britton, 67, fell asleep, went off the left side of the road and struck an embankment. She was wearing a seat belt and was treated for moderate injuries.

Separately, two people were hurt in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Osage County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred at 5:25 p.m. on Eastbound U.S. 50, just west of County Road 822.

Tanya Nolting, 55, of Mt. Sterling, went off the right side of the road, struck the ground and a sign post before coming to a stop.

Nolting and a 4-year-old child from Mt. Sterling were both wearing safety devices and were each treated for minor injuries.
