Missouri River Regional Library goes mad with science event

Get ready to measure your fun at the Mad Science Day.

This free family event is from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Missouri River Regional Library, 214 Adams St. in Jefferson City.

There will be STEM-related activities to join along with a show from Mad Science of St. Louis. The Fire and Ice show, which is at 11 a.m. in the Art Gallery, will have fun thrills using foggy dry ice, a demonstration of giant beach balls floating in the air, scissors that sizzle and shiver, and special bubble showers.
