JC man charged with delivery of a controlled substance

A Jefferson City man was charged with one count of delivery of a controlled substance for allegedly being found with an amount of marijuana with a street value of $8,000.

A Jefferson City Police Department probable cause statement shows officers stopped JaQerion Humphrey, 24, for a lane violation Thursday afternoon on Missouri Boulevard.

Officers reported smelling marijuana coming from the vehicle, and during a search of the vehicle, they reportedly found a grocery bag containing three "large" plastic bags of marijuana weighing a total of 538 grams.
