Commencement ceremonies for Jefferson City High School graduates are being moved indoors today due to rain in the forecast.

Shortly after 8 a.m., Principal Robert James tweeted: "JCHS will hold our commencement ceremony for the class of 2022 INDOORS today! Seniors, Senior parents/guardians, and staff please check your email for an updated newsletter with information!  Seniors- please be on time so we can be ready for a great graduation! GO Jays!"

Because the ceremony, which begins at noon, will be held inside Fleming Fieldhouse (high school gymnasium), each graduate is limited to eight numbered tickets which they were issued for use by guests. No other guests are allowed due to capacity restrictions.

Further information about the ceremony, seating and parking is available at https://www.jcschools.us/Page/19516.
