College Baseball: Radford's Davidson tosses two-hitter

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Radford junior Zach Davidson pitched a two-hitter April 16, leading the Highlanders to a 3-0 victory against High Point.

Davidson (Helias High School) pitched a “Maddux,” throwing just 95 pitches in nine innings for his shutout. He struck out three and hit one batter, facing one batter more than the minimum.

In 11 appearances this season, Davidson has a 1-4 record with a 6.85 EA and 41 strikeouts in 44⅔ innings.

Radford (14-30) hosts Longwood today and Sunday to conclude a three-game series.
