Due to technical issues, the Callaway Community Hospital temporarily limited services, starting in the early hours of Saturday.
As part of this, the Fulton hospital will stop inpatient admissions and all emergency medical services will be redirected to other area hospitals.
All physicians' offices and specialty clinics will remain open and are not impacted by the IT issue.
Jeff Stone, Interim CEO of Callaway Community Hospital, said patient care is the top priority and the staff is working tirelessly to address the issue.
"Many actions are occurring this weekend and Monday, but in case there is a temporary outage, we are placing our priorities on our patients," he said.
The technical issues are also impacting Audrain Community Hospital.
