BizBeat: Three Story Coffee leaves Dunklin location

A Jefferson City staple is headed into its next chapter as Three Story Coffee leaves its Dunklin Street location for a new spot.

The new location has been in the works for a while, and a recent social media post let fans know the team could finally "start counting down in terms of weeks, not months." A follow-up noted the Dunklin Street location was serving its final customers Saturday.

"We opened this shop 9½ years ago, and it's taught us a lot. We've learned so much about coffee, business, family, friends, perseverance, patience, faith, relationships, community, ourselves and so much more," it read. "It's going to be a little bittersweet."

The new location will be located at the corner of West McCarty and Bolivar streets. It will once again house roasting, brewing and service, which were split up from the original Dunklin location due to space, under one roof. An opening date has not yet been identified.

Three Story also has a location at 400 W. Main St.
