The News Tribune is hosting two elections forums Tuesday evening for contested state Senate races in the Aug. 2 primary election.
The forum for state Senate District 6 is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the forum for state Senate District 10 is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
They will be open to the public at Jefferson City Hall, 320 E. McCarty St. They will also be livestreamed on newstribune.com and the City of Jefferson YouTube channel.
Moderated by Managing Editor Gary Castor, the forums will pose questions from the News Tribune staff and community members to the candidates.
Readers can submit questions for candidates via email to [email protected], and we'll ask the candidates to answer them in a future edition of the newspaper or at the forum.
A second night of forums is scheduled for Thursday, July 21. It will feature candidates from House Districts 49 and 59.
