HARRISBURG -- The Linn Lady Wildcats dropped back to the .500 mark Wednesday with an 81-39 loss to the Hallsville Lady Indians in the semifinals of the Harrisburg Tournament.
Hallsville led by 17 following a 28-point performance in the first quarter. The Lady Indians extended their lead to 48-16 at halftime and 71-27 through three quarters.
Aushara Hostetler led the Lady Wildcats with 22 points, scoring her 1,000th career point in the loss.
Linn (8-8) faces Mexico in the third-place game at 1 p.m. Saturday.
