ELDON -- Caleb Walker scored 20 points and grabbed 20 rebounds Tuesday night, leading the Eugene Eagles to a 68-59 first-round win against the Eldon Mustangs in the Eldon Tournament.
Eugene led 17-10 at the end of the first quarter. The Eagles continued to hold a 29-22 advantage at halftime and extended their lead to 49-32 by the end of the third quarter.
Tyler Renn added 17 points for the Eagles, while Drew Sommerer chipped in 15 points.
Eugene (18-1), ranked No. 1 in Class 2, will play Versailles in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
