DIXON -- The Russellville Indians fell 63-52 Friday night to the Dixon Bulldogs.
Dixon (10-5) jumped out to a 12-6 lead after the first quarter and led 33-18 at halftime.
The Indians (6-10) hung tight in the third quarter with both teams scoring 17 points. Russellville went on a run in the fourth quarter to cut the Dixon lead to five points, but Dixon bounced back to post the 11-point victory.
Russellville was led by Alex Oligschlaeger, who had team-high totals of 19 points and 16 rebounds. Chris Seaver and Charlie Miller also added 10 points each for the Indians.
Dixon was led by CJ Thiltgen who had a game-high 21 points.
The two teams will meet again at 7:30 p.m. Monday night in the first round of the Iberia Tournament.
