Leadership of Lincoln University's Board of Curators will largely look the same this year as three of the four members currently serving in executive positions are expected to remain.

In a brief meeting Wednesday morning, the Lincoln University Board of Curators nominating committee approved a slate of members to take officer positions on the board.

Curator Stacia Bradley Brown offered the only slate, which would keep Curator Victor Pasley as board president and Curator Richard Popp as treasurer, and make Curator Richard Callahan vice president and Curator Everidge Cade secretary.

Curator Vernon Bracy currently serves as board vice president and Callahan is the current secretary.

Upon nominating the slate, Brown said the selected candidates would help keep meetings "expedient."

Brown's suggested slate was unanimously approved by the nominating committee, which consists of Popp, Brown, Cade and Curator Terry Rackers.

The board now has about a month to consider the slate before officially approving officers at its next meeting Feb. 10. Members of the board can also nominate additional candidates for an officer position at that time.

Popp, chairman of the nominating committee, said he's expecting the slate to be approved.

"They'll know who's going to be the officers, but -- I guess we could have nominations from the floor, I guess in February -- but yeah basically whoever we approve will be the slate of officers for this calendar year," Popp said.

Officers approved in February will serve in those roles for the entirety of the year.
