Dear Editor,
We had another example of Missouri's governor showing he is definitely not pro-life when he executed Kevin Johnson, his fifth execution.
Gov. Mike Parson is definitely comparable to the Pharisees, who totally supported the law while ignoring Jesus' teachings of mercy, not vengeance.
When are Missouri's legislators going to have the courage to be completely pro-life, not just pro-birth, and abolish the death penalty?
I'll bet they don't realize the United States is in the company of the following countries who still have the death penalty: China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen.
Is this the group of nations we want to be aligned with?
