The Jefferson City Area YMCA's Music Festival, which was postponed in May because of weather, is set for a return Friday.

The event is 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the 63 Soccer Complex on Renz Road in North Jefferson City. Bring your friends, your lawn chairs or blankets and an appetite, and get ready to dance the night away.

Advance tickets are $25 for ages 16 and older ($100 for five tickets) and $10 for ages 6-15. Children ages 5 and younger get in free.

At the gate, tickets are $30 for ages 16-plus and $15 for ages 6-15.

Music will be offered by Dave Baker Band, Forrest McCurren and the Daily Special, and Jordan Heckemeyer. There will be kids' games, face-painting by Tiff Wignall and entertainment from the Gerry Tritz MidMoMagicShow.

Food and beverage vendors will be on hand.
